For over two decades, Samnang known as Sam, has been a noteworthy leader in the event and travel sphere in Cambodia. A renowned travel and event industry expert, Sam co-founded a growing company and served as a Managing Director before Covid-19. SAM INSPIRE Cambodia is his growing Covid-19 recovered incubating Destination Event Management Consultancy in Cambodia. Sam can also be credited with contributions to the societies through his social conscious company and Non-profit organization, Angkor Kids Center. Samnang known as a truly committed social entrepreneur has been honored with recognition as the hero back to his community. He currently resides in Siem Reap, Angkor, Cambodia.
Van Leat
Event Manager
The smiling and friendly guy, a truly representation of the famous Khmer hospitality. Leat was the experienced F&B catering and hotel management guru before moving to work for a local Destination Management Company in Siem Reap, Angkor. During Covid-19, Leat was actively working for Non-profit organizations where he involved mostly in event and training management. Presently, he proudly joins SAM INSPIRE Cambodia as Project Manager managing the general business operation. Mr. Rolf Graf has been associated with Sam Inspire Cambodia as a teambuilding project leader. He intellectual and spiritual father of Beunite Thailand and the venture joiner with Sam Inspire. Rolf is married and father of two children. He has been living in South-East Asia for 20 years. He is in hospitality and education background. Rolf Graf is a serial entrepreneur, lead facilitator, trainer and coach and has led more than 100 training work-shops and team building events in his career. He lives in Bangkok, Surin and Siem Reap. During this pandemic Rolf founded Baan Cha Niang foundation, a Tree Planting project.

4. Why Choosing SAM INSPIRE As Your Local Event Support In Siem Reap?
SAM INSPIRE is the only specialized travel and event consultancy based in SIEM REAP, ANGKOR while most other event companies located in Phnom Penh, 314 km from Siem Reap. SAM INSPIRE is a small boutique company, mostly all events are managed by the owner, Sam which is a big plus to make sure the events are executed smoothly and timely without cross-checking and approving from many steps. 2. How To Get To Your Hotel / Event Venue From The Airport?
With SAM INSPIRE Meet and Greet services, we will arrange a welcome guide or escort in addition to our driver. The welcome person will have the welcome sign to meet and greet you right at the terminal exit door where you already get warm hospitality to the destination of your events. There is a taxi association at any airports where you can easily rent a van taxi, sedan taxi, motorcycle taxi, tuk tuk taxi from 15$ to 5$ per vehicle with driver per way (prices for Siem Reap before the new airport operating, upto 16 October 2023). When the new Siem Reap Angkor International Airport opened from mid October 2023. You are expected to pay Car sedan/Suv: 40$, Van: 50$, Mini-coach (20 seats): 70$ and Coach (40 seats): 90$, all prices per way.
5. Is Visa Needed For Traveling To Cambodia?
For the citizen of most ASEAN member countries, you are offered up to 30-day free visa, travellers from other countries can easily get a Visa on Arrival (VOA) at any airport for only USD 30 or apply online for an e-visa following the directions on the website here. If you apply for an Evisa, you must pay USD 30 plus services fees. Visit the official evisa website for more. Furthermore, arrival by flight, you are required to apply for e-Arrival Card as well, check our tips here. With SAM INSPIRE to run the logistics for your event, we can also arrange a Fast Track Immigration Service where all the participants just grab their luggage and get escorted to come out seamlessly. All the visa and immigration tasks will be done by the officers on your behalf.
3. What local destinations Are The Best For Event?
There are three main destinations featured on the travel and event list in Cambodia. Phnom Penh, the capital, commercial and core administrative city in Cambodia is the hub for event with extensive of venue choices and access to many event and AVL suppliers. However, Phnom Penh is just another city to anywhere in the world, while SIEM REAP home to the World Heritage Site of Angkor temples complex is the true destination to tell where your event are happening in Cambodia. The third destination is the coastal area with KEP and Sihanoukville. However, event facility and companies are very limited where you have to charter from Phnom Penh mostly.
6. What Are The Available Venues In Siem Reap?
There are only hotel-based conference space in Siem Reap. Sofitel Angkor Phokeethra by Accor is the only International Five-star hotel that has capacity up to 400 seats in Theatre or 200 seats in Classroom. And Courtyard Siem Reap by Marriott has capacity up to 260 seats in Theatre or 180 seats in Classroom and 160 seats in Cabaret. For local local venues, there are quite a number of hotels to cater to your need and style. For instance, Sokha Siem Reap Convention Center could accommodate up to over 3500 seats in Theatre and over 1000 seats in Classroom.
