Placing ourself over fifteen years in travel and event management in Cambodia, we are here to share some of our findings of where to dine in Phnom Penh as following list.
Sambok Restaurant
A premier fine dining restaurants Sombok located along Phnom Penh’s riverside road. Sombok means nest conveying care and nourishment. Inspired by the exceptional talents of the famed Kimsan. This pioneering chef has created an entirely new category for authentic Khmer fine dining which she first started at a Siem Reap restaurant (Angkor W Group).

Topaz Restaurant
This restaurant in Phnom Penh is not new. It is known as a fine dining and upscale restaurants for decades. It is part of Thalia hospitality group.

Khéma (La Poste)
As part of Thalias group, there are four Khema restaurant outlets, three of them located in Phnom Penh, and one Khema (Angkor) in Siem Reap. However, for corporate groups, Khéma (La Poste) is the most appropriate one. It is a standalone fine dining restaurant, required a proper advanced reservation and planning.

Malis Phnom Penh Restaurant
Not going far from Thalias group yet, Malis consists of two outlets, one in Phnom Penh and another one in Siem Reap called Malis Siem Reap. Malis is more common restaurant comparing to the above dining experiences. However, Malis offers you the creative local Khmer dishes with care to international favours and safeties.
Located in the heart of Phnom Penh, near the Independence Monument, guests can choose to dine in the outdoor courtyard or in air-conditioned comfort. The tables surround a beautiful tropical garden with flowering frangipanis and a trickling water feature beside a giant statue of Jayavarman VII, abiding by the principles of Feng Shui. Malis Restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and offers private dining rooms for business lunches or special events.
